The annual end of season presentation evening was held at the picturesque Chobham Golf Club, providing a perfect backdrop for a warm summer evening. Thankfully, the venue's air conditioning kept everyone comfortable as they gathered to celebrate the achievements of the season.

Approximately 80 players, parents, carers, supporters, and family members, attended the event. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and camaraderie, as friends and families came together to honour the hard work and dedication of the players throughout the season.

Of course the highlight of the evening was the presentation of numerous awards, recognising the outstanding contributions of players in various categories. Each award recipient was celebrated with plenty of cheers and applause, making the moment even more special for the winners.

We also had the opportunity to say farewell to player Billy, and his father, commitee member and coach Pete who have been with the club for 10 years or more. Both will be sorely missed and received standing ovations.

In addition to the awards, the evening featured a DJ who everyone entertained with a fantastic selection of music. While the attendees enjoyed plenty of great food and - it would seem - plenty of drinks.

Overall, it was a resounding success. It not only celebrated the achievements of the players but also helps to continue the fostering of the community we strive for, among everyone involved.
